Lockscreen screen (key) in the Android smartphone is planned advertise. In return, users who saw the ad can collect points and exchange it with data packets.
This has been done by PopSlide, the company's mobile advertising platform maker YopYo Holdings of Singapore.
Considering the average Android user to check his cell phone 50 times per day, then this business is deemed to be potentially profitable, both advertisers and users.
Users can collect points which is equivalent to 72 hours of data packets. The amount is said to be sufficient for the needs of data for one month.
Some large companies began to look at this business model. some of which are McDonald's, Unilever, Nestle, and Intel.
YoYo start with browser-based project named Candy, which was launched in the Philippines in 2013 ago. Candy sukss enough, able to attract 30,000 downloads within three weeks after launch.
YoYo PopSlide then launched in August 2014, and expands into Indonesia and Vietnam. According to CEO Yoyo, Yosuke Fukada, PopSlide has attracted 800,000 users in Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
